On 14th of August we invite you to visit the first in Ukraine single farm auction – “Auction of Zhashkov Stud Farm”.
“Auction of Zhashkov Stud Farm” is an exhibition of farm’s achievements and display of its biggest pride – its livestock.
The horses of the West European breeds at the age of 3 years and older will be presented at the auction. These horses are wildly popular in show jumping competitions and dressage. Horses of 3-4 years will be presented in the free jumping, horses of 5 years and older – under the saddle.
Auction is a hobby and a serious business at the same time.  It is kind of a game with a great share of excitement.
Horse auctions are considered to be the showcase of horse breeding, as they truly reflect principal trend established in the field.
Time, spent at the auction, is the best leisure for your family. As the horse auction is the exciting show, display of field achievements and the meeting place for professionals and devotees of equestrian sport.

November 23-24 2009. In Munster the final stage of kuring  were taking place ( horse licensing).
It should be noted, only a few can achieve the final and even less can win. But already the second time representatives from Ukraine ( from Zashkov stud farm) are one of competitors, who were in the final stage and between winners. This year stallion’s license took the stud Grand Sportage.

December 12 competition “Top 10” took place. Participation in this competition could take part only the best sportsman in this season, between whom of course were sportsmen from Zhashkov Stud School.
During tournament were carried out such competition: “Open class”, “Grand Pre for  youth” and also competition for horses of 5, 6 and 7 years old.
In competition with height of barrier 105 sm “Open class” 28 riders took part. This competition consist of two stages. If first stage was successful almost for all, then in the second part succeeded only the best  representatives. The best result was shown by Kiriluk Maksim (Fantastic Light), the second place took Nichiporenko Valentin (Emir) and the third place belongs to Putilin Alexandr (Kadet).
According to results of competition “Grand Pre for  youth” (height 1,2m), in which took place two competitors of nine, first place took Kiriluk Ivan (Kleopatra) and second Polishuk Artem (Cosmos). Both sportsmen are from Zhashkov Stud School.

7-9 of August there was international competitions of equestrian sport CSI 3* (Equestrian club “Magnate”) in Khanty-Mansiysk, where the winner got the Cup of the Governor of Khanty-Mansiysk okrug, Ugra region. The participants of competitions were representatives of Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. By the way Ukrainian sportsmen of Zhashkov Stud Farm were the only representatives of Ukraine.
That was hard competition among sportsmen, but it is not surprise, because the sum of the prize was 100 000 Euro.
The program of this competition consisted of 9 routes of different complexity, 3 routes of them were for sportsmen with young horses (6-7-year-olds).
Our riders were among prize-winners from the beginning. Ruslan Normuratov with the horse Fantastic Light took the second place (route for 6-7-year-old horses) that was one of two riders who could overcome the route without any penalty point. Ruslan with Artifex took the fourth place in the route 4 and got only one penalty point. Sergey Galliy was the fourth and the fifth in the route 2. At the second day of the competition Ruslan with Deep Purple took the second place among 6-7 year-olds and the second place in the route 6  (Ugra Cup), where the height of obstacle was 140 cm. Sergey Galliy with Ca Star took the second place in the route 5. Last day of the competition was the most important and intriguing. Sergey Galliy with Ca Star (Belgium haematherm) took the first prize in the route 8 (height of obstacle was 135 cm) and got the most sum of points 840 and overcome the route for 66.87 sec. Ruslan Normuratov with Deep Purple took the second place with the same results of previous day. But the most interesting was in the route 9. It was Grand prize (height of obstacles was 150cm). Ruslan Normuratov took the second place.

February 20-21 passed the first stage of Cub NIKO in the Club of out-of-town riding  “Stable of Butenko” . Judging of amount of participants, this Cub conquered popularity. The participants of many clubs went down here. The team of Zhashkow Stud farm took part in competitions too.

Not only the horses, which showed themselves already, took part in a tournament, but also new, for which a good test became by a route №8, the high of obstacles of what was 110sm. It is needed to mark that they managed with task not bad, not looking of that that in these competitions they took part fist time and the aim of tour was not the fight for victory, but only participation.
But however this time our sportsman didn’t remain without victory – Galii Sergey won the first place on horse Samuray (Cornet Obolonsky – Polydor), it was the route №9 – Grand Pre for 6 years old horses and Normyratova Nataliya took the second place on mare Venerique (Hartbreaker – Jus de Pomme) in the route №7 for juniors.

Successful start 2009. Comme in faut is the winner of stallion licensing in Germany (2008), it won its first competition. It was special competition for 4 years old horses. The high of obstacles was 1,10 meters.

December 13-14 out-of-town Club of riding “Stable of Butenko” gathered all the best riders of season 2008 for conducting Top-10 “Posolskaya Gyta”. Top-10 - is
concluding competition of overcoming obstacles of status CSN2* in this season. Competitions consisted of tree routes:Final TOP – 10 among young horses and  Final TOP – 10 “Grand Pre”. Representatives from Zhashkov stud farm were: Normyratov Ryslan, Nichiporenko Valentin, Kirilyuk Ivan, Normyratova Nataliya. Each round was special and interesting.  Each rider was unique and professional. Among all representatives from Zhashkov stud farm the fortune was located to Valentin Nichiporenko most of all. Among participants of the round OWNER CLASS he took the second and the third places, although he was separated from victory literary in a few seconds. According to other sportsman, their appearances were no less interesting, in spite of that they didn’t won the prized places.

The stallion licensing passes every year in German.  Stallion licensing (korung) – zootechnic measure, the main aim of it is selection pedigree sires with their behavious reactions, work qualities and anatomic facts. There are 9 stallion licensing in German. “Holstein”, “Hannover”, “Oldenburg” and “Westphalia” – are one of the most important kinds of stallion licensing in Germany. 
For the authorization for the licensing it is necessary that the stallions undergo a health examination. A clinical examination (eyes, heart, breath and other external conspicuousness) are carried out. 14 x-ray images are taken of the stallion’s limbs and back. To run out the possibility of infectious illnesses it is necessary to carry out a blood test, too. The results of genetic analyses which conduct for confirmation of lineage are taken into account also. Only if the stallion get the fine results of all analyses, it will get the right to take part in pedigree’s selection.
They were examined by a breeding committee of 5 judges. Aspects which come into effect here are:
- extraction/ origin
- physique and correctness of pace
- quality of movement
- free jumping.
This year to beforehand korung were allowed 590 stallions, 95 of them were able to continue the fight for getting the licensing. Zhashkov Stud farm presented four stallions. Three of them have passed to the finale. Captain Fire – Landadel и Cornet Obolensky – Grannus got the licensing of sire. Cornet Obolensky – Grannus became the premium’s owner of Vestfalskiy Unit, that is very prestige.

On this weekend passed the finale of Cub Niko – 2008, that had started in January. All stages, except the first stage, were passing in out-of-town house of riding “Butenko’s stable”, village Procev. Three basic groups were distinguished among participants. Young riders competed in the first group– those, which were not 18 years old yet. The second group depended from the age of horses. In this group took part rides with different level of preparation the age of horses and the high of obstacles were exactly limited. Thus, the high of the route for horses, which age is 5 years old – 105sm, 6 years old – 110sm, 7 years old – 115sm. And of course the most beautiful route “Grand Pre” – for eldest horses, where the high of the route was 140sm.
The riders of Zhashkov Stud farm took part in competitions from the first stage. Now, it is difficult to count up how many times at the calling of rider to competitive field was sounded “Zhashkov stud farm”. The team repeatedly took part in complete composition but much to our regret, not all were able to get to the finale. But it must be saying that our sportsmen of all three groups were able to get to the finale.
Among young riders Kirilyuk Ivan, coming forward on a mare Lovely Donna, took part in finale. In Grand-Pre for young horses took part Galiy Sergey on Ca Star and Normyratova Nataliya on Cirius from our team.
It is important to say that Nichiporenko Valentin came back to competitions after some interruption. This time he took part in competitions on two horses – Lu Lu and Emir in the route “Owner class”. During the second test day Nichiporenko Valentin on Emir passed without falls and he became the winner of route “Owner Class”, and the owner of Cub of owners of horses.
Normyratov Ryslan in Grand Pre took part on several horses. But by the selection of horse for finale he decided to stop on Artifex , grey stallion. Because Artifex repeatedly brings the victory to its rider. It must be saying that this time he became the winner too. Among all participants of Grand-Pre three of them were admitted to over jumping  - Normyratov Ryslan on Artifex, Porhomenko Anna on Panama, Rudik Igor on Hissym. But during over jumping only Normyratov Ryslan on Artifex was able to overcome the route without one fall and the result – he became the owner of the main prize – car «Mitsubishi Outlander XL».

On November, 2 nd has passed the ending of the Open Cup in Kiev on overcoming obstacles.
This Cup was held in 10 stages and had begun in March. During all the time the rating of horseman has constituted for three “nominations”.:
- young horseman, till 18 years old, the route’s high is 100-110 sm.
- young horses, the high of obstacles 105-115 sm, it depends from age.
- Grand-pre – route’s high is 130sm.
       The finale’s participants were those, who according to rating got in ten best.
It is necessary to note, that our sportsmen have got in 10 best of all “nominations”.
“zhushkov stud farm’s command took part in this competitions in full stuff. But in finale took part only three sportsmen – Normyratov Ryslan, Galii Sergey and Kirilyuk Ivan.
Kirilyuk Ivan – the most young sportsmen in our team. He took the second place in route for young horseman on mare Lu-Lu. In general rating of “young horseman” – the sixth place.
Normyratov Ryslan – took part in category “Grand-pre”. Namely in this category he took the first place. Because during all the period he was the winner repeatedly, riding on Artifecs and Qvi Sera. This time he rode grey beautiful Artifecs, took the fourth place, having only four penal spots.
Galii Sergey, having ridding on Ca Star, took the second place in rating for young horses, only one penal spot prevented him to become the winner.
We hope that our team will be lucky more in two weeks on final Cub “Niko”.

On October, 26th has passed the Open Cup of Cherkasska region on overcoming obstacles. Competitions passed in KSK “SVAN”. On this time representatives of Zhashkov stud farm were not only skilled sportmen, but lads, who visit Zhashkov sport school. Young rider took part in route №1, high is 80sm., “Youthful cub”. Knowingly speack that the beginners are always lucky. As the confirmation and the result of hard work we have three prize-places – Polishuk Artem on Emir, Shevchuk Maksim on Cirius, Shevchuk Katya on Lu Lu.
The route №2 was more hard. The high of obstacles was 105sm.
Accordingly in this route took part only skilled sportmen. It is necessary to say that Kirilyuk Ivan kept the second prize-place on Lovelly Donna. The route №3 – Grand-pre, the high of route is 120sm with jump over. Galii Sergeu  on Cayenne, Kirilyuk Ivan on Lu Lu with the first place became the winners.
The command brought 7 cubs during one day. These victories became the result of hard work so as trainers-instructors who have enclosed very much in young pupils, horses, and young sportsmen for whom these competitions, probably, became successful start in their sports career.
These competitions became the important stage not only for lads, but for some horses too. Someone of them took part the first time in competitions. They are: Cassina, Diva, Deep Purple, Cleopatra. The trainers were satisfied on their performances.
We congratulate our winners and wish them great victories in future.

In the end of October on KSK “Magnat” has passed the National stallion attestation of riding breeds. The candidates for receiption stallion’s licence from Zhashkov stud farm were: Cupidon (Cornet Obolensky- Cura (Cordobes)) from 2004., Moon Ray (Cornet Obolensky-Comtesse (Contender)) from 2005., Cape Town (Quidam de Revel- Princessa (Pilot)) from 2005. Besides our representatives there were representatives of other areas and regions. The total of stallions taken part in certification has reached 31.
 At an estimation of stallions-manufacturers such criterions are considered: type, the ex-terrier, measurements, sports qualities.
The first stage was the estimate of type and ex-terrier. Thus elegance of a structure, a harmony, dryness, elegance were considered.
The next stage was the estimate of quality of traffic. Houses show their grace, rhythm, elasticity, smartness of step, gallop, trot. Such indexes were considered: an impulse of movement, position of neck and skill to keep it in natural position during movement straightforwardness, beauty and elegance of movement.
The third stage was estimate of house jump qualities (force, technics of jump and temperament of house were estimated). The force of jump was appointed from high of obstacles. Style of jump’s technic – behind activity of back finiteness, elasticity of finiteness, back, character of carrying out of forward and back finiteness.
In spite of high requirements, put by commission before stallions, two of our representatives have received the sanctions to breeding use. So, stallions Moon Ray (Cornet Obolonsky-Comtesse (Contender)) from 2005 and (Cornet Obolonsky-Comtesse (Contender)) will be included in stallions-manufacturer’s Catalogue. Besides it Cupidon has been recognized as the best among stallions from 2004. He became the best in show and has been recognize “best jumping house”.
Recollecting the results of last year’s certification, we hope, that the victory of our stallions will become tradition.

It in opinion of German expert Ludger Beerbaum now that Cornet Obolensky is one of the best horses in the world. This year it took part in the competition in Hong Kong for Germany. In spite of the fact that performance of the Cornet was not absolutely successful, after Olympiad it has shown high ”racing” class in Muenster, Arezzo and Barcelona. It managed to bring two zero rounds solving contribution to a victory of a German combined team in Super league of Samsung in the finale for the Cup of the nations in Barcelona. The stallion of 9 years old executes the problems put before him with the big ease and magnificent concentration. The given horse possesses high potential. Most likely in the following two years the Cornet Obolensky will become a sports horse number one, it also concerns it, as well as stallion of the manufacture.

In the end of September passed the Cup of Ukraine on competition in Sumy. It is a cup one of the most scale, and significant for participants. Someone names it event of  the year, and someone simply colourful show.
